Organic cotton dress with twist detail.

The Bodil Dress is a t-shirt dress with an asymmetrical hem and a stitch tuck detail at the front. In a colourful gingham print, the dress has pockets, a crew neck and a cap sleeve. Crafted from organic cotton jersey, this dress is breathable and soft, with some shape to it.

Material

100% Organic Cotton

This fabric has a natural stretch with a slight structure, allowing the fabric to sit away from the body and provide shape and form to the garment. Cotton fabrics are cool, comfortable and breathable.

Organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or hazardous pesticides, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility.

Cotton is a renewable and biodegradable fibre.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.
